On the 11th June 2011, Family and Friends of St Andrew's met for a strawberry tea, garden party and guided tours of the new extension and raised over £700 in the process. 

Friends and family at St Andrews enjoyed a pleasant afternoon listening to music from the University of Warwick Brass Society and Godiva Brass as well as vocal and instrumental music from the group "Good Company". In addition to Sue Newton's delicious strawberry cream teas, various stalls offered supporters an opportunity to buy plants, cards, cakes, books and win great prizes in the raffle.

The eight new bedrooms of the new extension were open to the public for the first time and everyone was impressed with the size,decoration and furnishing of the new rooms.

The event raised over £700 for residents' activities, and this brings the total amount of money raised, or donated, so far in this tax year to £104,000.
